Sunflower Card and Gift Box

I just love sunflowers and when I was asked to make a sunflower card I already had this in mind and it was a perfect time to try out my idea.  I really love how this came out.

This card was made with BoBunny Double Dot paper, I just love that paper. My flowers were cut out with Lifestyle Crafts Bloom Die and Inked with Colorbox Ink and misted with Glimmer Mist Dazzling Diamonds. My leaves are cut with Sizzix Vine w/Leaves Die and Inked with Colorbox Ink.
Thanks for Looking.

I had to try and put in some of the lessons I learned from Suzanne Dean in my Copic class I took with her and one of the lessons was making the pleats in the cloths and I think that I did pretty good on her dress.
My card recipe:
My Magnolia Stamp was colored with Copic's and Stickles
Lady Bugs and Vine from K and Company
Lace and Ribbon from my stash
Pearls
You only have a few days left to enter you project ---HERE--- I would love to see what you make.

Precious Piecings Tooth Fairy Digi Stamp

How many of you didn't know that Precious Piecings has digi stamps? Well they do and they are really cute colored up.
After taking my Copic classes with Suzanne Dean I have been missing my Copics, I had taken a break and got really into paper piecing and just love it but really felt the need to color it up again. When I saw this cute Tooth Fairy Digi Stamp #661 I knew she wanted to be colored up. You can get her and lots of other Digi Stamps ---HERE--- and Lisa told me there are lots more to come. I have my Copics ready to go.
I made a cute little tooth box to hold up my easel card, that was the tricky part was making the box. I made the little box with Spellbinders and really thick pop dots and used two different sizes and then used ribbon around the outside and inside to hid the pop dots.

I made a little ribbon handle to pull off the cover.

I colored her up with Copics and added lots of pretty glitter to her wings. I added lots of pretty mulberry flowers and all my mats were cut out with Spellbinders. My background paper is from Prima's Sweet Fairy 6x6 Paper Stack.

If you click on the picture and enlarge it you can see the magnets on each of the sides under the top part of the box. The magnets were an after thought when I was trying to figure out how to attach the box. The cover was easy to hide the magnets after, I just made another top piece and glued it to the under side to hide the ribbon and magnets.
Make sure you join Precious Piecings on facebook ---HERE--- for lots of fun and contests.

Precious Piecings Easter Basket

It's almost time for Easter and here is a cute litte Easter Basket I made with lots of inspiration from a few friends. I made this cute pattern with a pattern from Precious Piecings #787 Jack Rabbit and you can purchase him ---HERE--- in the Precious Piecings Store.

I was hoping to have this done on Sunday but ran out of time, I spent the whole weekend leaning to color better with my Copics with a class from Suzanne Dean and her On The Road Copic Classes at The Inspiration Station in Stafford Springs CT, and I had such a blast. I even got to spend more time with my blogging sister Bonnie (Sassy Scrapper) Which is one of the friends I have to thank for this cute little basket, a few weeks ago Bonnie made a tutorial ---HERE---for this cute basket. And as soon as I saw it I knew I had to make one.
Another person I have to thank is the very tallented Anna from More Paper Than Shoes. You can check out all her beautiful flowers ---HERE---. She has been sharing her tallents for making the most prettiest flowers with all of us on her Ustream Classes on Saturday nights and not that I didn't already spend the day Saturday learning to color better with Suzanne Dean, I wasn't going to miss a class with Anna and learn how to make more pretty flowers.

Now all the goods that made this basket, a lot of the goodies can be purchased from The Beary Scrap Store:
PS: Right now I have some coupon codes that are good for The Beary Scrap in another post click ---HERE--- to get the codes.

A Little Spin On Our New Sketch At The Beary Scrap

We have a new sketch challenge at
I went on a Scrapbook Bus tour on Sunday and that involves 4 scrapbook stores and they all have a coach bus that rotates around all the stores and was so much fun I walked of the bus like a bag lady I had so many new goodies and I even won 2 prizes. At one of the stores I saw a tiny little shadow box and it was actually a kit by Darcie Crafts and I thought I can make that with Spellbinders. So I made up my template and started cutting out my pieces to make my own shadow box, I used just about every food box I have in my kitchen to make enough pieces to make my little box thick enough to put in my Baby Tear Bear. It was funny my husband didn't even know what I was doing till he went into the kitchen and saw bags of cereal and crackers and other yummys sitting on the counter without the boxes.

Now I couldn't even tell you how many layers my box is I never counted I just kept adding till my Baby Bear fit. I used the very pretty papers from the 6x6 Prima Fairy Flora Pad and my 12x12 paper is from Graphic 45's Once Upon A Springtime Collection. I also blinged this up with Stickles, German Glass Glitter and Dew Drops. My flowers were punched out with EK Sucess Retro Flower Punch and the butterflies were punched with a Martha Stewart punch and they both were inked with Colorbox Inks. My Baby Bear was made with an Acrylic Pattern and Mulberry Paper. My leaves is Sizzix Branch w/ Leaves Die.  I tryed to take pictures from different angles to show that my shadow box spins in the center. This has 4 small photo boxes made with Spellbinders.
Now lets see what you can make with our sketch.
