Paper Piecings by Nikki Challenge #2

I have not done a challenge in so long I can't even remember when the last time was. I had a bit of free time over the weekend and I made this cute layout. I think it's been even longer since I made a layout but after seeing a friend of mine Julie post beautiful layouts I just had to give it a shot. If you want to check out Julies work you can ---HERE---. I have been seeing the really cute new patterns by Paper Piecings by Nikki on Facebook and I really wanted to give them a try and saw her week 2 challenge "Christmas" and figured seeing how I was slow with making critters I would have some time. The rules for the challenge is you had to choose between two patterns "Very Beary Christmas" or "Baking Memories" that you can buy in her store ---HERE--- I used the Very Beary Christmas to make these two 12x12 layouts.

I have 4 pull out tags on the top of the photo mats for extra photos or for little notes.

Supply List:
Paper Piecings by Nikki
Papers by Reminisce - Holly Jolly Christmas
Bobunny- Double Dot Paper
Graphic 45- Christmas Emporium
DCWV-The Mrs. Claus's Kitchen Stack
Card Stock from my Stash
Spellbinders
Poinsettia's by Prima
Colorbox Ink

Want to play in the challenge you can get all the details and enter ---HERE--- on the Paper Piecings by Nikki blog.

My Goodbye to TBS Challenge Blog

On March 2, 2010 was my very first post with TBS and the very new challenge blog and now that it comes to an end I have made some very awesome life time friends. Even tho it's sad that this challenge blog is ending it is not like were saying goodbye forever. We will all still be out there in blogland.
When I first started making the tear bears it was so hard to find any information out on how to make them. They were a very guarded secret with those who knew how to make them. Then I found Kimm and her awesome Acrylic Paper Piecing Patterns to make them. With a few emails back and fourth with Kimm I was on my way to tear heaven and haven't stopped since. When Kimm and Susan sent out the request for a Design Team and I applied I never thought I would stand a chance and they believed in me and I can't thank them enough for giving me a chance to be on this team. Over the time here my style has been evolving and still is. I have just in the last couple of weeks changed up how I make my Tear Critters to make them more my own and now with the fun I have been having with Kimm's other new adventure with Beary Sweet Designs I can bring my Tear Critters to another whole new level.

For my last post here I have made this cute photo mat set.

Made with....
Acrylic Paper Piecing Pattern
Mulberry Paper
Fabri Tac Glue
Colorbox Ink
Paper from Echo Park Merry Christmas
Misc flowers and stickers from stash

I'm not saying goodbye to my teammates but reflecting on how they have inspired me over the years.

It's here My Memories Give-a-way!!

Who's ready for a give-a-way!!!
Do you want to win some free software from My Memories??
This is such fun digital software to use and super easy. I made this in the first 5 minutes of downloading the software.

Now I wanted to have more to show you before this post but I have been slammed with orders the last few weeks and I have been lucky to even get 4 hours of sleep a night. But if you keep checking back this weekend I should have some more free time to make some more cool pages to show you.

Now what do you have to do to win...
Well that's easy and I will give you 4 of chances to win.
First to have more than one chance to win you must make separate comments to add to your chances, if you make all your comments in one comment post that's only one entry but if you make 4 separate comments then that gives you 4 chances.

1st)The most important one head on over to
and take a peek around and tell me what product you see you like there and make a comment here.
2nd) Become a follower of my blog if your not already or tell me that you already are and made a comment.
3rd) Head on over to My Memories facebook page and tell them I (Patty's Crafty Spot) sent you and become a fan if your not already and come back here and make a comment that your a fan you can find them ---HERE---

4th) Head on over to my facebook fan page Patty's Crafty Spot and become a fan if your not already and look for my post there for My Memories and leave a comment there and come back here and tell me you did that.

That will give you 4 chances to win. I will also be running this over on facebook for those that don't have blogs and to be fair every entry will be handwritten down and put in a hat. If you have a blog only comments here will count for you, the most entries you can have will be 4. The contest ends Sunday night at midnight EST and I will post a winner on Wednesday so that way if I have tons and tons of entries I have time to write them all down and pull a winner.

If you don't want to wait to see if you win and want to get started right away you can save big now with this speical coupon code.
You can save $10 on the program now with coupon code
STMMMS19364
Copy and paste the code that's in red and click
---HERE-- for My Memories,
plus as a added bonus they will also give you a $10 coupon for
there store. That's a $20 value.
The software only cost $39.97 and you can save $10 off of that,
how sweet is that!
