Peg Board with Anna of More Paper Than Shoes

Last Saturday I had the fun of putting together this Peg Board Kit from Anna of More Paper Than Shoes that she sells for her Saturday Night Ustream Classes on her website ---HERE---. She has a monthly kit that you can purchase and then watch live to put it together. If you miss it don't worry she also records them.  I have been watching Anna on Saturday nights so long now that I can't even remember how long its been now. Well after some of the girls asking her she is finally creating these kits that you can purchase and play with.  When there is no class on a Saturday night its just Girls night to play and chat. I have so much fun learning from her.

Now with this kit you got the unpainted board that I painted and crackled. You also get the flowers and the leaves and vines for the kit. But if anyone realizes that I didn't use the leaves and vines you get with the kit I acutally used them on another project that you will see really soon.

I had some pretty butterflies in my stash that I added to the board.

I added a cute little Dragonfly to the board and also some of the pearl flourishes.

Now when I got the flowers that she sends with the kit already pre-made I added Glimmer Mist and Stickles to them to give them lots and lots of sparkle.
Now I have been playing around with making Stick Pins and when Lisa of Precious Piecings saw the Peg Board she suggested that I add some of my Stick Pins to it so I made up these matching pins.

Anna also has a Ning site that you can join and you can get more details

Tag your it!

Have you been inspired by what the girls have shown you so far in our challenge? Make your own embellishments. This has been a fun week and I have a Tag for you this week.

For my handmade embellishments I made a cute little peeker Tattered Teddy Tear Bear and added some punched out balloons. Everything was cut out with Spellbinders and Inked with Colorbox Ink. I added some Stickles to the balloons and to the the little To/From Tag. My little Tear bear was made with an Acrylic Paper Piecing Pattern and made with Mulberry Paper and Inked with Colorbox Ink. This whole tag was put together with Fabri-Tac Glue. I used some Seam Binding for the hanger at the top. My background paper is a 6x6 Paper Pad from Echo Park Summer Days. I have a cute little Pearl at the bottom to hold down the balloon strings that are dental floss.
Now lets see what you can make and enter it

Make It Your Own

We have a really fun new challenge of you and I couldn't wait to do this one.
Make your own Embellishments.
For this one I thought outside the box and not make a card. I have made a few of these cute fences over the weekend that I was inspired by Anna of More Paper Than Shoes, and I knew what I wanted to do for this new challenge. Plus I'm having so much fun altering items. Anna has made me think outside the box and Im having a blast!! If you haven't been lucky enought to catch her Saturday Night Shows you have to check them out on Ustream.

My paper in the picture frame is from the 6X6 Paper Pads from Bo Bunny the Gabrielle Collection. The fence and picture frame are from my stash.

My purple roses were made the the Retro Flower Punches. They were Inked with Colorbox Ink and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I also added some Mulberry Flowers. My vines were made from a die from Sizzix Vine w/Leaves and sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

My Butterfly at the top of my picture frame is a punch from Martha Stewart and the bottom one is from my stash and sprayed with Glimmer Mist. I have some pretty Robbin's Nest Dew Drops added. This whole project was put together with Fabric Tac Glue.

Here is a close-up of my stick pin I made. I made this with the Baby Bear Tear Bear Acrylic Paper Piecing Pattern. I inked the edges of my Mulberry Paper with Colorbox Ink.

Bo Bunny's Double Dot Daisy's

I just love making these flowers and made this card with Bo Bunny Double Dot Paper. I just love the Double Dot Paper and if Bo Bunny has any extra they don't need I would love to have it, lol...
This is a requested card and the second one I have made like this, I made a sunflower card like this already.

The flowers were cut out with a die from Lifestyles Crafts and Glimmer misted.
I am entering this card into the Bo Bunny Challenge
Card Challenge Tuesday--It's all about the Flowers
