My paper is from some old stock from Best Creation. I added some gree Dew Drops and some Rhinestones and Sticker from Recollections. My leaves are cut out with Sizzix Branch w/Leaves.

CLP New February Challenge

It's the first of the month and it's time for a new challenge from
Now I got this card done in the nick of time. If anyone is in the Connecticut area you all know what I have been doing for days. We have had a record setting amount of snow, for January we ended up with 56.9" of snow YES that's just this month. We average 47" for the whole season. I have snow piles in my yard taller than me. We have spent the whole weekend getting all this snow off my roof, there has been a lot of roofs collapsing in our state and I wanted to make sure my roof was safe and after calling all over I finally found a roof rake Saturday morning and the fun began, NOT! But I quickly got my card done for our new challenge and I have to say for not crafting in 4 days I had plenty of mojo to make my card.

I used the very cute Magnolia Indian Tilda and colored her with Copics. All my papers are from Graphic 45. I used some pretty pink ribbon that was a very kind gift from Chelsea. I cut my mat out with Spellbinders and all my papers have been Inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo. I added some Crystal Stickles to the outside of my mat. I add some pretty Mulberry Flowers and two hat pins.

Look a first for me I actually for once remembered to save my colors and take a picture. All these Copics were used on my Magnolia Indian Tilda.

Now here is the beautiful sketch you have to follow.

Now lets see what you can do following our sketch and enter you card ---HERE---

Here is a peek at all my snow:
This picture show you just how high it is next to my van and all the piles are this way.

You can barely see over the piles to see my van.

You can see it is as high as my deck railings.

This is on the back side over my deck on my garage just to show you how deep the snow was on my house. This is why we had to get all this snow down before the roof gave way. Mother Nature is not done with us yet we are going to be getting another huge snow storm starting Tuesday morning and not stoping till late Wednesday.

Thanks for looking.

CLP January's Sketch Challenge

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Did you miss us last month? Well now that the holidays are over we are refreshed and ready to play. Chelsea is also going to be our sponsor this month with her Gurlee Girl Store and I used Praying Lexi for my card, she is just the sweetest little girl. I loved coloring her up. I wanted to keep my card kinda simple this time because I wanted the focus to be on Lexi. I have also been learning how to color hair different and I like how her's came out. Sorry I didn't remember to write down the Copic colors I used and wish I did because I want to use them again.

Here is the sketch you have to follow this month.
Now you have till Jan 31st to enter your card ---HERE-- on the CLP Challenge blog.

CLP August Challenge #28

Can you believe that it's already August where has the summer gone! After this heat spell we have been having here in Connecticut I can say that I'm looking forward to fall. We set a new recorded for the most days over 90 in July. But speaking of hot sunny days I choose to use a sunflower color theme on my card this month. I can say that I really love using Brown and Yellow on my cards. It could be because sunflowers are my favorite flower.
Chelsea has another very pretty sketch to work with this month.

Here is my card:

I used Blossom Fairy Lexi from Chelsea's new Gurlee Girls now in her Store. I think Chelsea has some of the cutest Girls for stamps. She has 3 new Girls in the Gurlee Girl Collection. For Blossom I colored her with Copics and glittered her dress. I also used Sparkley Fluff in the centers of her hair bows. I added some 3D Diamond Glaze to the flower she is hiding behind her back. I have hand stitching using one of my soon to be sold patterns, watch for my blog post soon. I have a video showing how it works. Just check out the tab at the top of this post.

The flowers are decorated using one of Bonnie of Sassy Scrapper's flower tutorials. She makes her flowers come alive on her cards and I thank her for sharing her secretes. Check out her blog she has many there.

I used Colorbox Inks and some Peals. I have lots of Stickles all over the card.

I hope you can join us this month. Here is the sketch you have to follow. You can win yourself a $20.00 gift certificate this month to the Gurlee Girl Shop.

Thanks so much for looking at my card this month. Check out all the other very pretty cards the rest of the girls made this month at the CLP Challenge Blog they out did them selves this month.

It's sketch week at The Beary Scrap

This week at The Beary Scrap we are playing with a sketch that Kimm made for us to play with. This is such a fun sketch it's one for the keep file.
Here is my card for this week.

After seeing Elisa's great tutorial I had to give it a try.
I used the Martha Stewart Butterfly Border Punch. It worked really easy to wrap around my Spellbinder mat. For the stamp I used a new stamp from CLP Blossom Fairy Cammy. She is just so cute. I colored her with Copics and added glitter to her wings.  I also added Stickles the the butterflies on the Martha Stewart Border Punch. I used some Mulbery Flowers and also added Stickles to them.
My background paper is from Basic Grey Cappella Line. I added some miscellaneous gem brads from my stash, and hand stitching.

Now I have been blog hoping all over the net and I have seen quite a few of these really cool boxes and really wanted to try one. The Scor Pal makes it real easy to make your folds.

There is 4 small draws around the box and my easel card sits right on top. This was really fun to make.

I hope you can join us this week for our Beary Sweet Challenge. We had so many wonderful cards entered and I would love to see even more cards for this challenge. Thanks so much for looking.

I found a great blog with lots of great tutorials on this box and many more, Check out Kirstens Blog.

CLP Sketch Challenge #8

This weeks CLP Challenge #8

This sketch out of 5,6,7,& 8 is my favorite so far.

This was a very fun and pretty sketch challenge.
The stamp is one of Chelsea's "Winter Girl" from her Gurlee Girl Collection.
She was colored with Copics and there is lots of extras on her. I added as much as I think I could to her, she has been 3D glazed over all of her, she has stickles, flowersoft & glitter.

I have flowers and button snow flakes and lots of bling on her.

For a change I didn't do to much to the inside of the card I though the paper inside was so pretty I didn't want to take away from it, it is from Bobunny.
Want to know more about Chelsea's CLP Challenges or her stamps you can check them out HERE
