It's time to get my Creep on!!

Well when I went blog hoping around one day I found this fun blog and I have been wanting to play for a while now and after all the Christmas in July projects it was time to back up a couple of months and get my Creep on today. If your into my favorite holiday Halloween them pop over to
There is lots of funny goodies over there. There challenge for this week is
Appalling Arachnids
(Spiders)
I had to give this a try.

Little Frankie is playing with his spiders and it looks like he has a few there to play with. I tryed to go for Creepy but I think he came out Cutesy or maybe Creepycutesy, lol.
Frankie was made with a pattern from PPBL my spiders are from Jolees. I used black glitter background card stock and Spellbound paper by Making Memories.
The punches are from Martha Stewart.  My creepy tag is from Recollections.
I hope you like my creepy little card today.

I have entered into the following challenge:

Haunted Design House-Appalling Arachnids

It's a Tear Bear Christmas.

It's so hard to believe that there is only 149 more shopping days left till Christmas, Sorry had to go there. But the girls at
The Beary Scrap this week have giving you some really good inspiration for some holiday projects and cards.
Have you seen the new Tear Bear Patterns that Kimm has now available at the Store, they are super cute. When I saw Penny the Penguin I new that she would be perfect for my card. When the mail showed up there was my box of goodies in the mail and Penny was in there.

This card was so much fun to make I hope you like it.

This was so much fun to make. I used a paper bag album and took it apart and makes for a nice card base. I glued in ribbon on the inside of my mats so it made a tie to hold the card together. For my mats I used just plain card stock and sprayed it with Glimmer Mist, I must admit I don't use Glimmer Mist a lot but it added a really nice sparkle to my background that I will be using a lot of it now. To bad the pictures don't really show it but its very pretty. I used a the Martha Stewart snow flake boarder punch for the snow. I also added a little bit of light blue Ink to the snow flakes.
For my Tear Critters I used the Reindeer, Tear Bear and Penny the Penguin. The Beary Scrap just got in a new shipment of Mulberry Paper so go check out all the pretty colors there. I also used some stickers by Jolee's and I also used Tim Holtz Tissue Tape on the background which worked perfect for the holiday theme. I used Spellbinders to cut my little mats added Ink, and Stickles and some snowflake buttons. Hand Stitching and some little star pearls.

Your running out of time to enter our
Beary Sweet Challenge so make sure you get your card posted soon.

Thanks so much for looking.

It's time for another challenge at Lil Lolita's

Thanks for all the great cards entered into our Challenge and want to see this weeks winners (Yes I said Winners theres a lot this week) and who was choosen at August's Guest Designer check out the Lil Lolita Boutique Blog.

Well Kellie asked us a few weeks ago when everyone was doing Christmas in July if we though we could do it with the Lil Lolita's and we were all up to the challenge. I think the design team really brought the Christmas theme to the Lil Lolita's this week make sure you go check out all the awesome cards.

Here is my card this week.

I used the very pretty Willow for this week.  You can get yours in the
Tickled Pink Store ----HERE

She was colored with Copic's and I added a ton of glitter to her. There is two different colors in her hair and also on her dress. I also added some Fuzzy Flock to the botton of her dress to make it look more Christmas like but it stuck to the glitter and I also used the wrong glue at first so I also added some Liquid Applique' to her dress but was afraid to heat it because I didn't want it to look to puffy.
If you look at her flowers I stamped and cut out another set to pop them in her hands. The flowers have stickles on them as does the snowman and little red bird. I added some bling and snowflake buttons.

Thanks so much for looking. Now it's time for you to make your Lil Lolita's all Christmas and go post them on our blog.

Lil Lolita Challenge #7 It's a Color one this week.

Hello Lil Lolita Boutique Friends
Thanks for all the cute entries this week in our
Photo Inspiration Shoe Challenge
you all rocked it out and speaking of rocking it our Challenge this week is
Color
Purple Pink and Cream

I was so excited to see I got Sookie in the mail! Now if any of you know me I'm all 80's so when I saw Sookie in the previews I had to have her.

I was so excited to see her that I replace the stamp I had already colored and colored her right up.

I colored Sookie with Copics and added glitter. I was luckly enough to have the right sunlight to get her hair and if you look close enough you can see her hair is glittery to I used a clear Spica pen on her. Just some of the tips of her hair is purple. Had I had enough guts in the 80's that's what I would have probably have done.
I also used back ground paper by TPC Studio girlfriends and glittery card stock.
My guitar is from Jolees. Also some bling from my stash.
Mulberry flowers that have Diamond Stickles on them.

Ok I know that you want to get your own Sookie (who wouldn't) you can get her HERE

Now get your Rock on and color up our challenge and go to
the Lil Lolita Boutique Blog and show it off.

My background paper is by Pink Paislee-Starlight Dazzel

I colored Hansel with Copics, I also distressed the edged of him and the other paper with Distress Ink. I added some Stickles for more bling.

It's sketch week at The Beary Scrap

This week at The Beary Scrap we are playing with a sketch that Kimm made for us to play with. This is such a fun sketch it's one for the keep file.
Here is my card for this week.

After seeing Elisa's great tutorial I had to give it a try.
I used the Martha Stewart Butterfly Border Punch. It worked really easy to wrap around my Spellbinder mat. For the stamp I used a new stamp from CLP Blossom Fairy Cammy. She is just so cute. I colored her with Copics and added glitter to her wings.  I also added Stickles the the butterflies on the Martha Stewart Border Punch. I used some Mulbery Flowers and also added Stickles to them.
My background paper is from Basic Grey Cappella Line. I added some miscellaneous gem brads from my stash, and hand stitching.

Now I have been blog hoping all over the net and I have seen quite a few of these really cool boxes and really wanted to try one. The Scor Pal makes it real easy to make your folds.

There is 4 small draws around the box and my easel card sits right on top. This was really fun to make.

I hope you can join us this week for our Beary Sweet Challenge. We had so many wonderful cards entered and I would love to see even more cards for this challenge. Thanks so much for looking.

I found a great blog with lots of great tutorials on this box and many more, Check out Kirstens Blog.

Get Well Wishes for Weil Sau

I have been on a roll this weekend with cards and I'm back with another post today. This card is created for a little 6th grade boy that was hit by a car in CO. One of my other design team sisters from Lil Lolita asked if we can create a card for a little boy in her neighborhood that was hit by a car.  Luckily the boy is doing well now and is home but he has a broken jaw. He was wearing his helmet. He received a hand made card from someone and really liked it and the school sent out an email asking for anyone to make him a card. I know some of my other teammates on Lil Loltia in Australia are sending him a card and I'm sure he will be super excited to get them from so far away.

This card was made using a sketch from Stamptacular Sunday Challenge and the theme from The Burtonesque Dolls. The stamp is from Simply Betty and Miller was colored with Copics he little lizard was also colored with Copics and I added diamond glaze to him.

The mats were cut out with Spellbinders and inked and stickled. I also used some miscellaneous papers and card stock.

Thanks for looking.
I have entered this card into the following challenges:

My Guess at the new Simply Betty Emos Stamps

Well all the New Simply Betty Emo Stamp previews have been shown and I'm going to be taking a guess at what the theme is.
My guess is that it is going to be a summer theme.
And here is my card.

I made my card all bright and sunny. Betty was colored with Copics. I used Spellbinders to cut out the mat and Inked it. I also used miscellaneous summer brads from my stash. I used glittered card stock and plain card stock and ribbons. I used a cute button for the sun.
You can check out the Simply Betty Blog HERE to make your guess.
Thanks for looking.

I took the pics at night because I didn't want to miss the deadline I will take some better daylight pics in the morning and post them.

There is no monkey'n around it's all about Embossing

I have been wanting to make Miko the Monkey since I got this cute little guy in the mail. He came out so cute.
You can get this cute little guy at The Beary Scrap Store.

Have you made your card yet for our challenge?
All you have to do is either dry emboss or wet emboss.
I used my cuttlebug for this week embossing my background.

My background paper is from Basic Grey Cappella Line-Dolce.
I also used some of the new matching Paper Ribbon Doilies by Basic Grey in the same line.

Here is a closer look at Miko the Monkey. The thick Mulberry Paper that the store sells makes him look so fluffy. There is all kinds of colors in the store, I was thinking a cute little pink or blue monkey might look cute on some baby pages. Or add my favorite some balloons for a birthday page.

I also ran my paper thru the cuttlebug and then hand punched out some flowers. I added some Diamond Stickles to them. The leaf punch is from Martha Stewart and the flower punches are from EK Success.
Thanks so much for looking.

I hope you can join us for our Beary Sweet Challenge.
Kimm has put up an awesome prize this week from BoBunny.
