Farewell to Elise Blog Hop

Hello friends!
(Sorry this is a long post)
Today is Elise's final day as a Beary Scrappy Girl, and we're celebrating her friendship with a surprise

Farewell Elise Blog Hop!

My Magnolia Queen

(Big Thanks to Susan for making this picture for me)

We are sad to see her go and will miss her with all our hearts. We have delighted in her creations week after week and benefited greatly from her uplifting comments.

Elise, you are very special to each of us. As a way to recognize this, we've all played secret crafters and planners. We love a good surprise! Here are our projects, and please visit each of our blogs as we reflect on our time with you. {{big hugs}}

Elise my personal thanks to you, you have help inspire me with all your wonderful projects. You have made me step up my game with my cards and made me a better crafter. I love seeing all your beautiful Magnolia cards every week, hence the name I gave you as The Magnolia Queen. I love all the wonderful comments you make on my projects and bring a smile to my face when I read them. When I had to think of something I wanted to make to show you my appreciation for all you have done I could have made a card but I thought why not make something that you could keep on your desk and remember all of us at The Beary Scrap and it came to me a bear, lol. So I made a little container so you to store your cute little goodies in. This has been sitting on my desk now for about 2 weeks looking at me and brings a smile to my face seeing this little cutie looking at me.
I hope this brings a smile to you while your crafting.

My project recipe:
1 pringles can
Mulberry Roses
Bling
Bow

Now what fun is a blog hop without some candy.
Please visit each blog, and as you're crying along with us, be sure to become a follower if you're not already *and* leave a comment. Please post our candy on your blog, too. At the end, go back to The Beary Scrap Design Team blog and let us know you followed along - you could win
(even if you're international)!

The hop is open through Saturday, September 4th, and we'll announce a random winner from all the comments on Sunday. The prize is an assortment of embellishments* you'll find on Elise's fabulous projects: satin and sheer ribbons, lace, pearls, pins, little baubles and delicious flowers flowers flowers!

Summer Fun In The Dog Days Of Summer

Our theme this week at
is Dog Days of Summer.
We could use this theme anyway we wanted to take it. Well when I was growing up my Mom always said it, and it meant it was to hot to do anything and you just laid around doing nothing like a dog.

This cute paper by BoBunny--Block Party Picnic reminds me of a table cloth my Mom always use to use when I was growing up and fit perfect with the theme. The greyer paper is actually the reverse side of the same paper. My Magnolia Tilda was colored with Copics - still on sale for a great price. My butterfly's were punched out with a Martha Stewart punch and Stickled. I have some Prima Pearls on here. I also added a BoBunny button to the center of my flower. I used Spellbinders to cut out my frame. I also used a hole punch and laced up some ribbon on the side.

Thanks so much and remember there is still time to enter a card in our

Im entering this into the following challenges:

MDUC-Colors Orange, Pink, Green, Brown, Blue
Midnight Madness-MMSC68

Everything is coming up Roses at Lil Lolita Boutique

Wow what a week at Lil Lolita I think I'm still seeing spots or dots. Lots of awesome cards ladies we like seeing them all and want to keep seeing what you make. After reading some of your blog posts I see that a lot of you took advantage of Kellie's Digi Sale. Thats great keep an eye out for another digi sale sometime in the future Kellie had such a huge success with it I'm sure there will be more.  Do you want to see the winners this week check out the Lil Lolita Boutique Blog to see if you won.

Now on to this weeks challenge.

ROSES

Yep what girl doesn't love roses.  We would love to see your card with roses on it. Now weather you make your roses or have mulberry roses or any other kind, make up your card and post it on our BLOG.

Here is my card.

I thought that 20's Evie was cute for this card she has a little rose on her dress and I found some DP with roses at the craft store and the paper struck me as kinda vintage (ok so actually old lady paper but I'm being nice) so my 20's Evie was perfect for the paper. I colored her with Copics and also Stickled her. My leaves are punched out with a Martha Stewart punch and Stickled. I have hand stitching on my card. I also used a Prima Say It In Pearls with little roses.

I made my rose with Tim Holtz Tattered Florals. I have a video I made on how to make paper roses --- HERE --- I had my own pattern before I got the dies but they are made the same way.

Do you need to get your Lil Lolita Girl get them --- HERE

Karen's Birthday Card Part 2 Safe Half Way Across The World.

I'm so happy Karen finally got her birthday card in the mail and now that she saw it I can share it with you.

This card was one if my favorites from my stash and I gave it a little bit of a face lift so it's not exactly the same as it was originally. In the short time I have known Karen I know that she really likes the Magnolia stamps and I knew she would love this one. I think I was just as happy as she was when my Yahoo IM started poping at me and it was her saying
OMG OMG OMG 8x's
I have been asking her almost every day since she came back from her trip if she got it. As soon as I got the message I knew it made is safe half way across the world. YEA!!

Enjoy Karen!!
 Happy Birthday

Southern Girls DT Call

Who doesn't love a little free play time. I had some extra play time on Sunday I should have been getting a head start on some DT projects and get ahead of the game but I saw that Southern Girls Challenge was having a DT Call and I wanted to make a card for the call.  They wanted us to make a card using all of our favorite stuff. Well if most of you know me that's easy Sparkle , Bling, 3D shapes and easel cards!!

So if  your also interested in applying for the Southern Girls Challenge DT you can check them out---HERE

Now the stamp I used was a gift from the awesome Chelsea of CLP she gave all us girls on her DT her new stamps to play with and I used the very cute Blossom Fairy Cammy and you can get one at Chelsea's store --- HERE while your there check out her other Gurlee Girl Stamps. She was colored with Copics and I added some Stickles to her. I have lots of hand stitching on the card. I inked all the edges and I had this really pretty embellishment from Jolees called Together Blossoms that I have been wanting to use for sometime but didn't have anything to use it for but Cammy sits very pretty on the branch. I also added some extra leaves to the branch. I added some sparkley flourishes all around the card.

I also used
I was also on the look out for some inspiration to make my card and
had this really cute sketch to play with this week.

I am also going to enter this card into the following challenges:
