I added and extra fold in the front to give it more of a 3D look.

I used Karen Doodles Princess Pony Digi Stamp.
She was colored with Copics and glitter. The lable was cut out using Spellbinders. The paper with the castle is by Best Creation and the other paper is by BoBunny.
Here is a side view of the fold that I did. I didn't really follow any pattern I just played around with it.

It's Spring Week at The Beary Scrap

I'm so glad the weather is finally warming up. We hope our spring week will help warm you up a little more as well.
For this week when I saw this cute little stamp online in The Beary Scrap I knew that I had to get it, and Flower Soft was written all over it.
She is Star Girl by Penny Johnson from the Stampavie Line.

I have been wanting to try something new, embossing on acetate. This was really fun to try and believe it or not this was my first time and it worked! The butterfly's were punched out with Martha Stewart punches. I also added some pretty flowers to the front of the card. The oval was cut out with Spellbinders. The paper is from Basic Grey Sugar Rush Licorice (on sale this week in the store). I also add pearls

Here is a closer look at how the stamped impression on the acetate looks. It's pretty easy to emboss on the acetate you just have to watch out how hot it gets and back off when it looks like it's going to melt. Then go back over it.

Here is what it looks like with a different color paper behind it so you can get a better look at it.

Here she is on the inside, the Flower Soft looks so pretty on her bouquet, I also added Stickles (on sale this week in the store) to the leaves and stars on her dress. She was colored with Copics and I also added glaze to the bow. I used the Copic blender marker to make the dots on her dress

I hope you liked my card and come back tomorrow to
to see what else they have for you.

She was colored with Copics and then I added glitter to the petels of her dress, coller, flowers on her shoes, and her flowers in her hair. I added Glaze to the flower centers and the dots on her dress and center of the flowers of her shoes.

My Beary Scrap Design Team Project "Celebrations"

Hello I’m Patricia and it’s day number 2 of our week of “Celebrations”, and I hope you liked what Gini had for you. I chose to honor The Beary Scrap Design Team with my project.  I created a double 12x12 page layout.

If you love making or want to learn to make Tear Bears the one must have item is an Acrylic Pattern by Kimm  these patterns make you look like a pro.
There are also lots of pretty mulberry paper and the must have tool in the store.

For the background paper I used paper from the Basic Grey Origins Line of papers.

I also used punches from Ek Sucess for the balloons and flowers. I used Martha Stewart's boarder punch and branch punch. I used Bo Bunny brads on the flowers.

Now what did I use my dental floss on? The balloon strings. It worked perfect for them.
The balloons were inked and covered with glaze and while still wet I added glitter to them.  The balloons with the names on them were pop dotted to make them higher than the other ones.
I also added glaze on the eyes to make them stand out more. You can get your own free set of eyes from The Beary Sweet Tear Bear Blog.

I hope you liked what I have for you today be sure to check back tomorrow to see another exciting project on The Beary Scrap Design Team Blog.
