A Christmas Star Mini Album Part 3

Today I would like to share with you my 3rd part in my A Christmas Star Mini Album. 

This video will complete the making of the whole album but I will be back with a part 4 showing you all the fun inserts we can make for this. 

I'm so happy how this came out and my special spine decorating I tried with this. 

In this video I show you how to make the front and back covers as well as the pages that attach to them.  On the front of the cover I have a see threw window made with Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:102  Your photo can slip in threw the side. To make these final pages I used Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:24  for my base pages and Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:95  for my pattern paper.  

Both inside front and back cover I made matching again but they mirror each other. 

To make these pages I used the new Harmonica Pocket die CLJP654  from Journalzz and Plannerzz and added the Small Pocket Die no:653 For Journalzz and Plannerzz  on top to keep my photo flap held down when a tag is added to the small pocket.  My photo flap is make with the Medium Pocket Die no:652 For Journalzz and Plannerzz 

I had a special idea for the wrap on the spine, I used Mini Albums CLMA98  to add holes on my spine and wrap ribbon between the front and back covers.  I also used Mini Albums Binding System C  the smaller piece to make the side pattern paper to wrap my ribbon thru. 

I think it came out so pretty.

Crealies: A Christmas Star Mini Album Tutorial Part 2

Today I would like to share with you part 2 of my newest mini album series called A Christmas Star. In this video I show you how to make 4 more pages and we also start attaching the pages to the spine.  

For these pages we make a simple star corner pocket page. To make these pages I used Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:24  for my base pages and I used Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:95  for my pattern paper. To make my corner pocket I used Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:102 

I decided to make this page using a magnet closure that I hide under my flip up flap that has a star attached make with Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:102 

To make the flip up flap I used Mini Album Binding System C , this gives me just enough extra room to allow the extra goodies that you might put in the pockets.  To make the fancy boarders on my pockets, I used On the Edge no:50  and On the Edge no:45

To add all these pages together I used Mini Album Binding System D

Crealies A Christmas Star Mini Album Tutrorial Part 1

Today I would like to share with you the start of a new mini album series, this one is Christmas inspired.  I'm calling this one A Christmas Star. 

In today's post I will show you how to make 4 pages if this mini. I have a full tutorial on this. 

To create my base pages I used Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:24  This is my go to die all the time for my base pages. You can use any of the Crea-Nest-Lies XXL dies for your base pages but this one is just my goto and if your looking to start making these mini album this would be one I would recommend as a must have.  For my pattern paper I used Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:95  the rough edges on this die makes for fun edges. 

To put both styles of these pages together I also used Mini Album Binding System C  and On The Edge Die no:48  One page I made a side pocket and a top loading pocket on the other page.

I wanted to make a fun element to my pockets so using Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:102  and a piece of acetate I made this see thru window. 

Below is a closer look at the fun stitching on these dies. 

For my next 2 pages using all the same dies I created this center spread of the mini album when we put this together. 

For these pages I made a fun closure to keep this all neat when closed.  Using Mini Album Binding System C  in a different way I made my stars (made with Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:102  )flip up to allow the pages to open. 

I keep all this closed by attaching my closure on top of For Journalzz and Plannerzz Small Pocket Die .

Then from going largest to a smaller die I made these pages flip open for photo mats.  These were all made using Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:24  for my base pages and Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:95 for my pattern paper and all attached with Mini Album Binding System C

Today I would like to share with you some of the new products for September.
For this release it makes you want to say Hurray! With all the new dies and more. 
Today I made a card for you using Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:108 
and Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:102 

This card was fun to make, I added my word on the top using Alfies no:03 

Using Crea-Nest-Lies XXL 102  I used both the positive and negative cut outs of my stars to make a fun look to my card.  

Using the Thin Frames from Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:108  I made these fun colors
to cut out my stars using Crea-Nest-Lies no:102 .
