It's the first of the month and it's time for a new challenge from
Now I got this card done in the nick of time. If anyone is in the Connecticut area you all know what I have been doing for days. We have had a record setting amount of snow, for January we ended up with 56.9" of snow YES that's just this month. We average 47" for the whole season. I have snow piles in my yard taller than me. We have spent the whole weekend getting all this snow off my roof, there has been a lot of roofs collapsing in our state and I wanted to make sure my roof was safe and after calling all over I finally found a roof rake Saturday morning and the fun began, NOT! But I quickly got my card done for our new challenge and I have to say for not crafting in 4 days I had plenty of mojo to make my card.
I used the very cute Magnolia Indian Tilda and colored her with Copics. All my papers are from Graphic 45. I used some pretty pink ribbon that was a very kind gift from Chelsea. I cut my mat out with Spellbinders and all my papers have been Inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo. I added some Crystal Stickles to the outside of my mat. I add some pretty Mulberry Flowers and two hat pins.
Look a first for me I actually for once remembered to save my colors and take a picture. All these Copics were used on my Magnolia Indian Tilda.
Now here is the beautiful sketch you have to follow.
Now lets see what you can do following our sketch and enter you card ---HERE---
Here is a peek at all my snow:
This picture show you just how high it is next to my van and all the piles are this way.
You can barely see over the piles to see my van.
This is on the back side over my deck on my garage just to show you how deep the snow was on my house. This is why we had to get all this snow down before the roof gave way. Mother Nature is not done with us yet we are going to be getting another huge snow storm starting Tuesday morning and not stoping till late Wednesday.

Hey Sis! Wow your card is AMAZING. Holy Smokes you coloured Tilda in so prettily. I love this stamp, it's on my wish list, you did such an awesome job with it. I just love how you used the ribbon.
Those pictures are really beautiful thanks for sharing.

A beautiful card! I LOVE the way you've coloured Tilda so beautifully in!!
I have to say WOW to all that snow! Not so much of it here in Tromsø these days, luckily! Great job - on both shovelling snow and making such a sweet, wonderful card!! Lucky the one who is the receiver! :)
Have a fabulous month of February - without too much of the white stuff landing on roofs and elsewhere for us to work hard to "get rid of"!!
Hugs, Hege
Gorgeous card, Patty! I would have just gone to bed after all the shoveling. I really need to get motivated to craft. I'm thinking of running an online crop on the facebook page tomorrow. Hope you can join in.
This card is GORGUSS!! What are the little row of flowers on the left hand side.
OMG no one should have that much snow. It's just not right.
