Inking Pink Blog Hop

This is your
Inking Pink Blog Hop Start!!
Welcome

Welcome to our Inking Pink Awareness Hop! Our paper crafting community spans the globe and brings all of us together under a common roof. We are grandmothers, granddaughters, mothers, daughters, aunts, sisters, best friends, wives, cyber-friends and design team teammates. Many of us have family or friends touched by breast cancer and all of us want to encourage all of you to check yourself!

This hop will take you around the world, so please sit back with your morning coffee or evening tea and celebrate our stories and projects with us. Some of your fellow crafters along the hop are even offering blog candy! Please give a little comment love to each and every crafter along the way. We hope you enjoy our hop, and most of all we all want YOU to give yourself the greatest gift and do a self-check tomorrow. The more you do it, the more breast aware you will be!

I will keep this as short as I can you have a really big AWESOME hop:
First let me personally thank everyone of you that are making this hop possible. After we found out one of our Teammates (Elise) was diagnosed with Breast Cancer we wanted to do something and after seeing her post on Awareness we figured we would help spread the word. I have 23 other Woman with me helping spread the Awareness and I could have ended up with 100 eager Woman wanting to join.  Just a couple of personal Thank You's real quick, Thank You to Chelsea for coming up with our Blog Title and to Kimm for making our Awesome Badge that you have seen all over blogland and also to Susan for helping me word some of this blog post and to  Nicole for your help and advise you gave me. Also to each and everyone of you for helping make this one of the most awesome blog hops ever. This is the first time I have hosted a hop and I have my fingers crossed that it will be awesome.

Oh, Believe Me, I do the self-exam! It's what saved me this spring. I found a lump, it was cancerous and luckily removed and then I had mammosite radiation and NO chemo was needed! I feel blessed I had always done the self exam - not every day or every week or even every month, but very often! It's what made the outcome so good. Thanks for a chance at these goodies! and getting the word out to everyone so well!!

As for BSE, did one yesterday and always try to remember at least once a month. In the shower is easiest but laying down flat is best.

Thanks for doing this. It seems to me that more and more women are being diagnosed every day. This is such a nasty disease that we've all been touched by it in some way or another. I have talked to my doctor about a mammogram and will be doing it soon. Mean time I'll check the girls on a regular basis. Thanks again

What a wonderful post for this blog. I'm so sorry for your friend I pray she will get treated and pull through with ease. It is important to check those girls.. having a breast reduction makes is even harder to tell.. as there creates alot of scare tissue.. I always try not to panic when I feel something that I an unprofessional person feels something. But I'm always up on all my exams and having the new girls alittle always alittle scary.. as you think just one of these times they are gonna POP!
Great Dedication for this hop... Truly inspirational!!
